The Lego Incident
On Sunday's we have quiet time for a couple hours where we are trying to train the older boys to not come into our room unless there is an emergency...
Jay-"Mom! Mom! Emergency! Asher accidentally swallowed a Lego!"
Me- muffled sleepy voice..."What?! How big was it? Are you okay?"
Asher-(small voice) "It was an accident!"
Jay-"Is Asher going to die?" Sensing our lack of alarm...Pause...You're not going to die Asher."
Asher- "O.K."
Boys exit room.
Matt says, "it seems like they create emergencies just so they can come in here."
Later:
Me- "Asher why did you have a Lego in your mouth? What were you doing?"
Ash-"Well, I didn't KNOW I was going to swallow it!"
Even Later:
Jay at bedtime-"I said a prayer to please help Asher to not die because he swallowed a Lego."
The End.

So will you be waiting for it on the other end? lol
I agree with Matt...I think our boys do the same thing sometimes, mostly when it comes to getting them to bed at night!
I'm glad he didn't die. You got to love boys.
Cant wait till you find it! You have to save it and frame it or something! I love those nephews of mine. Never a dull moment..really!
I found the trick at our house...if they interrupt my Sunday nap they have to go take a nap! It works like a charm :)
you need to create a coffee table book with all your jay and asherisms. they are very funny little boys. you could call it, "jasherisms".
