Quick Quotes

In May, Asher lost his first tooth. Mommy pulled it out with floss and he was very brave.

Asher: "I kind of like the smell of gas... Pause...not the toot kind of gas, but the gas from a car. (Clarifying) I like the smell of gas from a car. "

Ridge very serious to mommy while she was driving, singing/clapping in the car: "Mom no clapping (cwapping)! If you clap (cwap) we will crash! (cwash).

Ridge sneezes 2 times. Mom says: "Bless you!" R: "I did 2 blesses (bwesses). Mom: ? Ridge: Bless you Bless you. Mom: Oh 2 sneezes! R: "Yeah!"

Mom: "Are you going to go to your Primary class on Sunday?" Ridge: "No." Mom: "Okay, then you know that means no dessert. R: (thinks for a second) "The church is gone-Sorry!"

New Year's 2011

We welcomed the New Year in with some friends.

(Asher & Ridge were both sleeping off ear infections.)

December catch up part 2

Jamey, Sariah, Cody, Summer, Haven, Aunt Vicki, Sean, Brenna (poor sick Daisy), McKenzie and Mike

The 3 Amigas

Mom and Dad made a fun (and HARD) scavenger hunt for the 3 daughters. Our lovely gift was matching sister rings with 5 diamonds across a beautiful white gold band, with our initial engraved inside. Very special and thoughtful. I wear mine all the time.

Excuse the no make up!

I love these girls!

Our brother cleans up pretty well too! Brenna is pregnant with Miss Holly Raye Conroy.

The entire family

This is a big chunk of our family at my niece Chloe Nicole Spradling's baptism. It was very special and I am so thankful we got to be there to be a part of her special day. All the kids sang "I am a Child of God" and we had a testimony meeting while Chloe and her dad Brent changed clothes. It was a wonderful way to end our visit.

Let's finish up December 2010! (Part 1)

We had a great time in Carlsbad visiting with the entire Jenkins Clan. It was super special this year as it was our 1st Christmas all reunited with Seth home from his mission. The boys especially loved staying at "Meme's Hotel". (The guest apartment)

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner at my parents house and kept with tradition in cutting the French Noel cake to find the hidden china. Whoever finds it is the king or queen of Christmas Day. Mom made a cake for the grandkids and a cake for the grown-ups. Such a fun tradition!

Uncle Joe D. taking his turn while the nieces look on.

Santa's sleigh flew over Muffin & Punkin's house during our party. There were green and red flashing lights everywhere. It was so neat! Here are the grandkids watching in amazement!

The girls singing the traditional "Carol of the Bells". Too bad we didn't fit in our "Happy Birthday Mr. President" as well.

Christmas Morning: Asher opening his stocking. He got lots of Silly Bands, just like he asked Santa for.

Jay River opening his stocking.

Santa brought all 3 boys soft blankies to keep warm on cold winter nights. They are still a favorite to sleep with 6 months later.

Every man must own at least one gun, or if you are my brother Seth at least 6 along with machete`s, knives and lead pipes. We call this the "Viva Pepe`" gun. (funny story from his mission in Honduras)

We had a delicious dinner at Uncle Vance and Aunt Cheryl's house and had cousin Cody Ross (SF Giants) sign some baseballs for the boys. Asher's eyes crack me up in this picture.

No Christmas is complete without a "Meme Christmas!" I don't know how she does it, the sheer amounts of adults, kids, babies, and sizes is overwhelming. There were 2 other rooms full of people and presents. Meme is amazing and she and Papa are always so generous to everyone around them.

Brent, Matt, Seth & Sean
The brother-in-laws modeling their new sweater vests before they head to the church to shoot some hoops. We had such a good time together.

How do YOU chop onions?

Would you could you in a ski mask? This is the only way I can chop onions and see anything at all, my eyes turn on the tears/waterworks the second I slice into one.
Matt thought it was funny.

My one good April Fool's joke

Would you like some "juice?" with your cereal? I innocently asked the boys. YES was the unanimous reply. Oh but wait, why can't we get anything out of our straws?

JELL-O! The boys laughed and laughed.

Later that night Matt and I found that our clocks had all been changed to a strange time with a little note next to them that read "April Fools!" That's about as crazy as it got at our house, although the older they get the more on our toes we will have to be.
