Meet my new best friend: Oil rubbed bronze spray paint.
Light fixture before:
Light fixture AFTER meeting my trusty friend. It looks kinda black in the pictures, but it has a nice metallic shine. It goes perfect with our new cabinet hardware. Cost was about $6.

Wow, JJ - that looks great! I am also a fan of the spraypaint. I have never used it on a light fixture. I have often bought cheap frames at the dollar store or something and spraypainted them to look much nicer! I'm very impressed with your home improvement skilz. You should have a show on HGTV. I would watch it for sure!
Huge improvement! Love it.
Nice! I love bronze.
The cabinets are GORGEOUS! Isn't it amazing what a little paint can do? Wonderful transformation! I totally want to do that with our ghetto light fixture but I don't know how to unwire/dewire it and put it back. Please enlighten me how you did that.
It's perfect!
That has to be the best $6 ever spent...Matt DOES work at Home Depot on the side doesn't he?!?
Looks awesome! LUV it! :)
Looks SO good, Jame. And I love, love, love your cabinet pulls. I guess I probably already said that.
(ps. my word verification is hyper)
