Of course when Matt is out of town...

something eventful always happens. Good thing picture re-take day was today. Here are a couple pictures and a video of them explaining why they decided to cut their hair.

At least no one is bleeding, hair will grow back. :) Hope this is the worse thing that happens while you are on your own.

so funny! It's pretty good timing; they could just say it's part of a halloween costume. Last week Bailey cut her eyelashes off of one eye. She is indefinitely grounded from scissors.

oh, come on Mom, isn't the embarrassment of this post punishment enough? Though if you have already set a punishment, don't got back on it, otherwise your kids won't trust you.

I thought the video was hilarious why would they be embarassed? They will love watching it someday. I love the sorrow on Jay's face. I also love the idea of letting them decide what their own consequence should be. Of course sometimes Mom has to choose, but hey, no TV sounds great to me. Cute boys Jame. Never a dull moment for you!

Oh geeze, that is way to funny! It seems that is a need for kids. CUTTING HAIR.. I am sure they won't do it again.

Jamey, I seem to remember a time when you cut off your shoulder length hair. What was your explanation? Dad

Too cute. At least they are boys and it will grow back relatively quickly. (not like my little Cindy Lauper 1-1/2 years ago. her hair still has not grown back all the way.)

Oh my gosh, that is the funniest thing I have seen in awhile! "Because we forgot you told us not to!" Priceless! It seems Jay feels a little more sorry than Asher though! I have threatened Avery within an inch of her life if she ever even puts a pair of scissors NEAR her hair.

Looks like someone is getting a buzz....

Oh, ps - you could dye Asher's red and they could be devil horns for halloween!

How could you ever get mad at those little angels! They are just too darn cute! I want to squeeze them!

Maybe it's a good thing you have boys instead of girls because that 'cut' would be hard to blend on a girl! Thanks for adding a little laughter to my afternoon :)

I think Asher thinks it is funny, he keeps flashing those dimples. :)I love that he thinks the consequence should be "nuffing"!
You can tell Jay is definitely feeling the remorse.
It is funny that Dad recalls you doing the same thing...I remember that too. What goes around comes around! ;)

hahaha! sorry, not too laugh or anything, but that was hilarious! The devil horns are COOL Jamey. I think you're being a little too rough on them!lol!

Ok, at least you had the peace of mind to take pics and videos. Sydney gave Olivia a mullet when Olivia was 3! I about freaking died! She chopped her bangs right up to her forhead and all the hair off on the sides of her ears and left in long in the back! When I asked Syd why she cut her sisters hair she said Olivia had macoroni in her hair! What the? Oh man...I laugh about it now....but I CRIED! No lie. I couldn't believe my cute little girl looked like a BOY!

When my husbands sister was little....she got frustrated that she couldn't get all the wrinkles out of her bed spread after making her bed...so she cut the wrinkles out! Kids are so funny. I love how your little guys says he "forgot you said that." lol!
